Multi-building scenarios
Create scenarios with multiple buildings from your account
The multi-building feature of gospace allows you to solve for group requirements not only within a single building, but across multiple buildings in your portfolio. You can include specific buildings, regions, or your entire portfolio in a single scenario, allowing you to move and connect groups that need to work together between buildings, reduce excess unused space and plan for change and growth.
Key features
View the plans and analytics for the currently selected building (Building A)
View scenarios that cover multiple buildings by selecting the building icon with ➕ beside the building
Switch to another single building view using the arrows beside Building A

When another building is selected, the additional buildings will be shown beside the first, and you will be able to view all scenarios that contain those buildings (and only scenarios that contain those buildings). This means that if you select two buildings out of four, only scenarios that contain those two buildings will show in your scenario dropdown.

Create a new multi-building scenario
To create a new blank multi-building scenario, select Create blank scenario, select a people set from the dropdown (note: you cannot select a people set that is currently used in another scenario but you can duplicate people sets or import groups) and then select which buildings you want to add using > or >> to select all buildings.

To create a new multi-building scenario from an existing scenario, and use the people set and allocations used in that scenario, select the scenario you would like to duplicate. Any buildings that are included in the existing scenario will be included in the new scenario. You also have the option to add buildings that are not currently included in the existing scenario.

Filter groups in the groups tab by building
In multi-building scenarios the people set has a Building column, to show where groups are located. You can also filter groups by current building or floor.

Allocate and connect groups across buildings
In the connections tab in your workplace, you can connect any of the groups that are a part of your multi-building scenario. Groups can be moved by AIDRA into buildings with their connections when you evolve or they can be manually allocated into the building you choose using the paint tool.
Duplicating groups across buildings
Groups cannot be duplicated in more than one building in your scenario. For example, you cannot have a group called Security allocated into both Building A and B. This is because AIDRA will always try to bring groups together which may not be your intention (the two Security groups may be completely separate and should stay allocated to their current buildings). If you are trying to bring one group that is allocated to separate buildings together, we recommend naming them Security Building A and Security Building B and superlinking them. When you evolve, they'll be brought together.
Manually allocating groups
As groups cannot be duplicated in more than one building, you cannot manually allocate a group to a building when it is already allocated in another building in your scenario. To allocate the group, you will need to unallocate it from the first building or rename it as discussed above.
