Manage groups
Add, edit and import groups in the workplace
Add groups
Create a new group directly in the groups tab in your scenario with the add groups button.

Edit groups
Click edit group to the left of the group or double-click directly on the group to make changes. You can also edit multiple groups at once using the edit groups button.

Select more than one group to bring up tools at the top of the groups tab that can be applied to multiple groups at once. This includes the flexibility and target tools.

Selecting a group will also highlight the group's allocation on the floorplan:

Group variables
Flexibility: Allows you to control how your groups move when evolve is used. If you need a group to remain in the same position, set them to 'fix' (the lock icon). If you need to keep a group on a certain floor, use the flex function (the back and forth arrow). Groups are set to 'free' as a default (the four way arrow).
Workpoints: The number of desks/workstations allocated to the group.
Headcount: The total count of group members.
Ratio: The ratio between headcount and number of workpoints allocated.
Target: The number of workpoints that a group requires. AIDRA will use the target of each group when evolving a solution.
Target ratio: The ratio between headcount and target.
Peak: The highest number of workpoints used by a group over time.
Forecast: A forecasted peak value for each group for between 1 - 4 weeks into the future, based on the dates selected in the peak column.
Lost value: The difference between the maximum number of workpoints used by a group over the selected time period (the peak) and the allocated number of workpoints, multiplied by the cost of each workpoint. The cost per workpoint is added by our team during account setup.
Import groups
In a test scenario, you can import groups from other people sets (the group list unique to a scenario) or from the Primary set (the list of all active groups for the organisation).
If you are using GoSpace for scenario planning and regularly activating scenarios, then you should always make sure to import the active groups from your Primary set or active scenario if you are working with a new blank scenario or a scenario where those groups don't exist.

From the import groups modal, select the primary set or search for the people set you would like to import groups from.

Once you have selected the people set, you can choose Select all or pick individual groups to import.
