Consolidate space
Instantly free up workpoints for re-purpose or release
Before evolving a solution, you can use the consolidation tools to instruct AIDRA on how to use any unused space on your floorplan. Consolidation gathers unused workpoints into specified areas each time you evolve.
To use the consolidation tools, create or select a test scenario, and then click Consolidation in order to pull up the various tools: manual, auto, erase, and remove.

Manual consolidation
When manual consolidation is applied, AIDRA will automatically ensure selected workpoints are kept free of allocations.
For example, an entire floor can be selected to be freed up and AIDRA will reallocate groups to achieve this with minimal disruption. If groups cannot be accommodated in the remaining space, AIDRA will adjust ratios until they can.
To apply manual consolidation, select manual consolidation under the consolidation tool and click and drag over any areas you would like to clear of allocation. Click confirm changes to save. The workpoints that have a green outline will be kept clear when you next evolve.

When auto consolidation is used, AIDRA will automatically free up the available unused workpoints in one area when you evolve. Auto consolidate ensures targeted areas are kept free until all other workpoints are allocated.
Before evolution: point of consolidation is shown by the green outline around a single workpoint.

After evolution: all unallocated workpoints are gathered around the point of consolidation.
